House of Wax






In my quest to photograph something interesting today I made my way to the Pleasant Stay hotel. Sounds nice right? But no. It is not pleasant. It is a halfway house/SRO/?? for HIV+ men and women. I've tried before but no luck. Today there were some nice people sitting outside with information for the residents and they seemed to think most would be open to having their photograph taken - today, no luck. So around the corner I went and down into the record store. This is Israel and his collection of wax. I have many friends that would love to get their hands on this, for me just made me wonder where those 45's are? I hope they are still in the checkered box in the parents basement like I remember...
