North 5th.
Behind us the music plays and the waterfront disappears into high-rises, but on the fishing pier it's often like old times. These are the same folks that fished the river from North 10th before it vanished, before the neighborhood vanished as they knew it. The waterfront is safer and the river almost cleaner, yet the neighborhood has changed so drastically it's hard to recognize it. Visitors come and visitors go but mostly you find the same 5 guys fishing the afternoon away. Today a 15" Blue, yesterday a 42". No one really likes the Blues, especially when they are so big, but something is better then nothing...
