There were a few spots I had hoped to see while in Port au Prince and this was the top of the list! Atis-Rezistans is a compound of artists creating works from parts mostly picked from the garbage. I can't remember where and how I found out about them but I've been enamored since. Some may find the Voudou subjects too much, but if you get beyond that, each piece is incredible and has it's own character. I only left with a small wood sculpture but wished I could have bought so many more. There isn't a name on the piece I bought but looking through the works online, it's similar to Louko's work.
