Red to the White and the Blue



Flag day has passed. Fourth of July long over. Memorial day, forgotten - and yet, flags pop up everywhere. The Brooklyn Flea is big on flags and I do love the graphic nature of a flag - photo, photo, photo! The wall is from a 9/11 memorial mural in Brooklyn that I just had to stop and photograph. A huge wall, 3 photos wide, that sits amongst the most festive, flag waving section of Brooklyn I've ever rode through. I like the flag, but it makes me nervous when every house, on every block after block, has one out front and even more in the trees. Land of the free, home of the brave...
