Fourth of July.







Joey Chestnut inhaled 69 hot dogs in 10 minutes under the scorching sun, breaking his own record of 68. The Astrotower was coming down leaving Luna and the other parks closed. Those that didn't come for the beach wandered aimlessly unsure what to do while the other million of us went into the water. A spectacle like no other!

It was HOT so we played with guns.

Savannah, day 1. Hot.









90% of every conversation about this trip started with "you know it's going to be hot down South right?" no kidding, really, never would of guessed it. And guess what, it's hot. Remember to drink water Hot. Jump in the fountain and swim Hot. Even the statues are sweating hot. Ok, it's not that hot - but it is hot. The first day we ran all around town, Bonaventure, Mrs. Wilkes, Design District, SCAD, the Legion, Forsythe Park, Pinkies and home again. It was great and we are heading out again soon to take on Wormsloe and Tybee. Off tomorrow morning to Panama City Beach where the oil isn't washing ashore and the beaches are still white.
